Addyson is 3!

I cannot believe my little girl is 3 years old! She is so excited about it because she knows that she gets to start ballet lessons and preschool. We had a birthday party on Friday with her playgroup and we served lunch and cake and ice cream. She had a great time (even though she had trouble sharing her new guitar) with all the kids. I think there were about 13 - 14 different families here and believe it or not, the mess wasn't too substantial. I had the floors cleaned up in no time. :O) Addyson talked about the party for the rest of the day. She told me that she had a great birthday and that evening she requested to go to Applebee's and the waitresses sang to her and gave her 3 pink balloons. She was thrilled. She got a few more presents that morning including her pink guitar and microphone, a Princess tent, and a tutu and yoga outfit. She understands birthdays now and even said, "my birthday is over" the next morning when she woke up. It still amazes me how quickly my baby girl is growing up.

Today we went to Kidsfest with Aunt Diana and Kaylee, and Luanne, Lucie and Henry. We met Audra, Maggie, and Layla at the Erock show and all the girls had a great time dancing. Some of the pictures in the slideshow show them having fun. (Sorry some of them are blurry, my little camera doesn't take very good pictures.) We saw Curious George, Clifford, the Berenstain Bears and a crazy looking Pirate. At 1:00, Addyson was on the hunt for a balloon animal and we did find the area with them, and lucky us, we were the last ones to get them. Although we did have to wait for over an hour to get pink puppies for Addyson and Lucie, it was worth the wait to see the smiles on the girls' faces.
