Peoria Zoo for Father's Day

We visited Grandma Debbie and Papa Kenny for Father's Day weekend and Addyson went to the Peoria Zoo and a Peoria Chiefs game. She got to root for her favorite team, the Go Go Cubs since the Chiefs are the Single A Cubs team. Ron Santo appeared and the manager is the cutie pie Ryne Sandberg, my favorite since I was a kid!

We have quite a few lakes around us so Addyson gets to swim in a lake this summer instead of the Lifetime pool. She enjoys playing in the sand which of course leads to a lot of it in my car. Oh well, as long as she has fun, I guess I need to just learn to use the vacuum once a week on the car. What is one more chore...haha! So far, Addyson and her friend Lucie have had some pretty good times at Lac la Belle. Now we need try Pewaukee Lake and a few others.

I thought I would start this blog as a way to communicate with our family and friends. Addyson is doing so much every day and growing like crazy. Yesterday, we had a visit from Aunt Diana, Uncle Bob and Kaylee who is also growing like a weed! With a baby sister or brother coming for Addyson, I figured I had better do something to document it, since it takes a lot for me to make scrapbooks. I hope you all enjoy this and I will try to update it as frequently as possible.
